Inserting and Removing.

Before using a pessary of any kind consult a doctor.

To facilitate easier insertion and removal of the pessary, it's recommended to use lubrication. Before using any lubricant, ensure that you are not allergic to it. Natural lubricants, such as olive oil or coconut oil, can be helpful for this purpose. Place a few drops of lubricant in the cup end of the pessary and spread it evenly.

Insert the pessary slightly towards your leg, avoiding a straight insertion. Gently use your fingers to push it in small amounts; the pessary will begin to align with your body. As you push the pessary in, bend your body slightly forward; the suction will help guide it into place.

Never force the pessary into position; allow it to seat itself gently. Once the pessary is in place, you can use your abdominal muscles to give a slight push to help it settle properly.

To remove the pessary, assume the same position you used for insertion. If you are seated on a toilet, reach between your legs. Use your fingers to grasp the front button, which will help gently release the pessary. Avoid pulling the Spool BeesWax Pessary straight out, as it is held in place by suction. Instead, press the button and gently move the pessary from side to side while slowly pulling it towards the vaginal opening. Continue this motion until the pessary starts to come out. Keep the pessary angled towards your leg and allow it to exit to the side—do not pull it straight out.
